Jones Family Tree Service is a family-owned and operated tree service and forestry company proudly serving Northern California from Eureka and Salyer, California. Founded by husband-and-wife team Ben and Florentina “Marie” Jones, the company was built from a shared passion for the outdoors, wildfire safety, and protecting the communities they call home.

Ben and Marie met boating on the rivers of Six Rivers National Forest and, after years connected to Forest Service fire suppression work, decided in 2020 to build a business rooted in family, hard work, and stewardship of the land. Today, Ben leads field operations and crew training while Marie manages the business and client relationships. They juggle it all while raising their daughters, Myra and Helena.

Backed by more than a decade of fire suppression experience and award-winning fire management leadership, our team specializes in safe, precise tree work, hazardous removals, forestry services, and wildfire mitigation. We’re known for taking on the jobs others can’t, with the skill and equipment to “go where bucket trucks can’t and other companies won’t.”
